The primary aim of this particular RCI shoot was to get some action in the images of the flowrider, RCI’s surf facility on the back of the cruise liner. Shot around the Caribbean, we used underwater equipment to cover low and submerged angles, while a 30ft rig, hired in Miami to save on transport costs, allowed for the aerial shots. This set up was operated using a remote control camera so we could see what was going on but still direct the action up close (it was quite noisy!) The Flowrider was shot from dawn to dusk to cover all lighting conditions and model selections. Once this was completed we were able to concentrate on the fun extras like the kids shots and the live shows. These were shot in the trademark low angles, getting wet, running around the stage and generally making a fool of myself!
